...damn, but there's some interesting stuff still on the board, tho' - including frank offerings from the man himself...still makes enlightening reading...

Alas, they are lost to the ages.

I'm pleased to say that at since I posted the above, at least part of the annoying problem has been solved: Once again, Martin Roberts has done his magic and kicked the porno spammers off the memberlist.
And once again he's done it as a favor, for absolutely zero financial gain.

For those who might not be aware, Martin is also the one who got this board back in operation for us after the hackers hit.

Let me echo the wise words of D.A. above. Naturally I welcome any posts at any time (well ALMOST any posts). But with grant out of town on such crucial business, unable to pitch the porno sites off the member list and resolve the old-threads-new-threads question, I'm just considering the board on vacation.
As I've said several times. Our fingers are crossed that the new-daddy miracle worker can call the pre-hacked forum back up.
But for now, consider the board on hold for the next 10 days or so.
Don't hesitate to post whatever's on your mind, just know this forum is as temporary as the Yahoo board was a couple weeks ago.

Oh....I think we're all just waiting for The Grand Fixer to return and restore the familiarness, kick out the bad guys, and give us our cookies and milk.
