Hey...Sorry Mai. :(

Just re-read my typing. Getting Old.

Gor one line wrong in 3rd verse. Should read:

"The strong & tender hand of love"

:)

OK BOB as long as you have no objections, here are the lyrics for Mai.

Thought this turkey could type up mostly from memory, but the old head feathers are getting fuzzy; so i had to put on the track and check for accuracy. (My memory wasn't too bad.)

I CAN”T WALK ROADS OF ANGER
Composer: Bob Lind

You, you who loves me
I would think you’d understand
Not to build a fence around me
But accept me as I am
I want to reach with loving arms
And caress the glowing sunrise
And warm the winter snow
And dance the rhythms of the ebb tide
Belonging to no one
Yet free to love the World
That grows around my smiling mind

I can’t walk roads of anger
I ain’t got the time.

There are those who stand against you
With unkindness locked inside
Please don’t think that I don’t feel it
When their actions hurt your pride
But how important is their pettiness
Compared to what’s around us
The string & hand tender hand of love
Reached blindly out and found us
The blanket of evening console us with its lustre
With tomorrow close behind

I can’t walk roads of anger
I ain’t got the time.

Look beyond the moment
It is the twilight of your tears
The memory of your sorrows
Will dissolve into the years
Lift your head and listen to the music of the thunder
The laughter of the rain comes
From the winding sky we’re under
A rainbow of daydreams comes true
And spins in spirals
Weaving sliver down my spine

I can’t walk road of anger
I ain’t got the time.

So please forgive me
If I don’t fall to games of hate
Your foes will fall without me
Into graves dug out by fate.
Yes, and I will write my love songs
With the changing of the season
And kiss the earth
And ocean giving laughter is my reason
My heartbeat is pounding with blood
That carries love for this enchanting world of mine

I can’t walk roads of anger
I ain’t got the time.

Hey Mai,
Good question. Your guess is as good as mine. To the best of my recollection, I've never posted lyrics anywhere outside of this site.
But after reading your post, I checked out several of the lyrics sites and what they say is, "We're sorry but the artist has decided not to disclose the lyrics to this song."
News to me.
As if I had decided TO "disclose" others.
I have no aversion at all to people knowing those lyrics. I just don't really have the time or inclination to put up words to the old things.
If any of you regular turkeys care to post the words for Mai, however, I will not arrest you.

The lyrics to most songs can be easily found on the Net. But this one, 'I Can't Walk Roads of Anger" carries a tag that reads something like: 'lyrics removed at the artist's request.' If that is the case, I wouldn't pursue it, but I just wondered why. :?:

Hopefully Bob will understand this question--I don't think I do. :?

Dear Bob,

I'm sure this has been asked many times, but I have to ask for myself:

Why have the lyrics to 'I Can't Walk Roads of Anger' been removed from everywhere? Thank you.

Love,
Mai
