Early word is that the show was great -- packed with new fans. Or at least attentively listening 20-somethings bearing Bob Lind albums, which is something.
More as it's available.
If you were there and feel like saying hi, HI!

Bob Lind's show at Little Pedro's was a big hit, with around 75 people in attendance, including such luminaries as Meg White of The White Stripes, Gregg Turkington (aka Neil Hamburger - cult comedian), alumni of Beachwood Sparks and Brian Jonestown Massacre(!). It was a who's who of Silverlake / Echo Park hipsters. Bob played an exquisite set and captivated the audience with a set chock full of stirring performances. The show was a success without any assistance from the press and no advertising other than hand flyer-ing, posters at record stores / cafes and myspace. I should mention that the show also took place on the night after Halloween- a big hangover day with half of L.A.'s music community in NYC for CMJ. The odds were stacked up against anyone in terms of getting solid turnout on Wednesday in L.A- but Bob's show was really quite a happening!
