Once Upon A Time, In Late November...

Somebody around here must be special (or paid someone off big time)...

I was nosing around in Wikipedia, in the section on November 25 birthdays, and what to my wondering eyes did appear but the year 1942
and the name Bob Lind.

How'd you get the whole year to yourself?!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, old man, you and your music are young forever!

It's not that I started out getting the whole year to myself, it's just that everyone else is probably dead and I'm the only rock and roller left by this time.

Thanks for the Birthday wish, Jeff.

& from me, too...

Yes, Bob is right. Consider Jimi Hendrix, born 11/27/42, just 2 days after Bob.

Hope you have the happiest of birthdays. :D

On BBC Radio 2's 'Sounds of the Sixties' today, (Nov 24th) Brian Matthew played 'Elusive Butterfly' and mentioned the ACE album and Bob's London concert earlier this year. This is one show I always enjoy, especially the feature called the A to Z of The Beatles, featuring early interviews and archive tracks from BBC programmes.

I heard this too. Pity he did not mention the website or play another of Bob's songs rather than constantly playing Butterfly. I would like the general public to hear more of the other great songs Bob has recorded rather than always EB.
Happy Birthday for Sunday Bob.

another year gone by.....wow.

Belated Birthday wishes, Bob.
I hope it was a happy day for you !

Yeah, John Duncan ...I agree .... it's great that Elusive Butterfly gets current airplay ..... however since the re-release of The Complete Jack Nitzsche Sessions, and Circles there is so much material available now that stations could choose to air. Let's face it ... more than 20 tracks on the recent Big Beat CD would be "new stuff" to 2007 radio audiences.

By the way, "Perspective" is my favourite from the 2007 demos.

Bob asked me to thank all of you for your Birthday wishes. He is travelling in Europe now, but has checked the board and read all of your messages.
